| Dr. Kenneth H. Good celebrated over 50 years in public ministry as pastor, teacher, author and Bible Conference speaker before God called him home in 1991. He had been a regular contributor to Baptist publications and has written such books as God’s Gracious Purpose, Are Baptists Calvinists?, God’s Blueprint for a Church and Are Baptists Reformed? His classic work, Chosen in Him, was first published in 1967 and has been in demand for the past 15 years. |
| Dr. Good recognized the need for Christian workers to be in tune
with the times and with each other in the edification of the saints and
the propagation of the Gospel to a needy world. In his own words he
stated that “We live in a day of increasing confusion regarding
Christian work with the result that the energies of believers are
frequently dissipated without achievement through lack of concerted
effort. Study of this
condition reveals the fact that the confusion finds its origin in the
widely divergent concepts entertained by Christians with regard to several
major themes of theology, and among those who are expected to share a
common statement of faith." It is our purpose to make available to our fellow believers, Christian Workers, Pastors and Missionaries some of the timeless works of one of the finest Bible expositors of our time. It is our prayer that getting this material into the hands of God's people will strengthen our common faith centered in orthodox theology leading to a biblical unity thus enhancing our ministry and service to the glory of God. |
